Aperitivo and Piano Bar in St. Moritz: Le Bar and Le Jardin
Where to come for a relaxed aperitivo or a drink in St. Moritz: our Le Bar and the garden terrace Le Jardin, with lake views, live piano and Champagne Saturday. You never need a reservation.
For an aperitivo in St. Moritz you don't have to go far to find us. As the evening begins, two of our favourite spots open up at Villa Beaulieu: the garden Le Jardin outside, above the lake, and Le Bar inside, our drawing room with the piano. Both are open to guests staying with us, and just as warmly to anyone in St. Moritz dropping by for a drink. You never need a reservation, simply come as you are.
Le Jardin: aperitivo on the sunny terrace
Le Jardin is our south-facing garden terrace, sloping gently toward the water. From here you look out over Lake St. Moritz and the mountains beyond. People come for a late lunch, an afternoon coffee, or an aperitivo as the light turns gold. We are open Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 each day.
Le Bar: drinks and live piano above the lake
Le Bar is our room inside: deep banquettes, warm light, and a black piano played on many evenings. A little piano bar with no stage at all. Come for a cocktail, a glass of wine, or simply a quiet last drink. When the weather outside won't cooperate, we open Le Bar from 12:00 indoors, and the aperitivo simply comes in with you.
Champagne Saturday
On Saturdays we set a bottle of Lallier champagne for 95 francs out on the sunny terrace. You need no more occasion than the Engadin and the lake right in front of you. It is our favourite way to welcome the weekend.
Opening hours of Le Bar and Le Jardin
- Le Jardin: Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 on the terrace (in fair weather).
- Le Bar: from 12:00 indoors when the weather is poor, and in the evening for aperitivo.
- Monday is our day of rest.

No, a reservation is never needed. Just come by. If you'd like to be sure of a table, though, we'll happily keep one ready for you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Then we're here for you indoors in Le Bar, from 12:00, with the same aperitivo and often live piano.

Yes, the piano in Le Bar is played on many evenings. Wonderfully informal, with no stage.
