Le Jardin: summer kitchen and terrace above the lake in St. Moritz

As soon as summer allows, life at the villa moves outside. Le Jardin is our garden terrace above the lake, and in summer the loveliest spot in the house: for a long lunch, an afternoon coffee, or an aperitivo as the light turns gold.

A terrace above the lake

Le Jardin slopes south toward the water, looking out over Lake St. Moritz and the mountains beyond. Old hedges, a long table, parasols for the afternoon. Most guests soon treat the terrace like a second living room.

The summer kitchen

The menu follows what summer offers. Charcuterie, cheese and small plates in the afternoon, with changing dishes across the season. It is simple and good, made for a long day in the sun.

Aperitivo as the light turns gold

In the evening Le Jardin becomes the apéro terrace. A glass, a plate, the lake right in front of you, and live piano from the house on many evenings. On Saturdays we set a bottle of Lallier out for Champagne Saturday.

Opening hours

Le Jardin is open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00. When the weather is poor we simply move inside and open Le Bar instead. You never need a reservation, though one is always possible.
